Chichester
Chichester has a long history as a settlement from Roman times. It is has a 12th-century cathedral. The city is a hub of several main road routes, and has a railway station, bus station and hospital. It also offers a good choice of restaurants, a cinema, shopping and a Farmer’s Market in the centre of the city, every Wednesday. For those wanting a bit of culture, Chichester is home to the internationally-renowned Festival Theatre, and in 2012, the newly built Chichester District Museum called The Novium opened, which is situated a stone’s throw from Chichester Cathedral. The Pallant House Gallery and other smaller galleries are also situated in the city centre.
